Trinity Courtyard

The Trinity Courtyard at St. Alban's Cathedral has two areas where inscribed bricks that are purchased are placed on display. The Trinity Courtyard is located in the area that has the highest pedestrian traffic and therefore the highest visibility in the center of the church buildings between the sanctuary, Grundorf Hall and Kimsey Hall Parish House.

In the very center of the courtyard is a fountain with benches around it providing a place that people can sit and rest.

Please keep the following guidelines in mind as you fill out your order form so that your brick purchase will be exactly as you want it:

  • Bricks are 8 inches by 4 inches in size

  • Inscription can be no more than 13 characters per line (a space is considered a character)

  • Maximum of 3 lines per brick

  • Do not use small punctuation marks, such as periods, commas, or quotation marks. The sand blasting process does not handle them well. Dashes, hearts, exclamation points, and question marks may be used.

If you wish to buy more than one brick, your bricks can be placed adjacent to one another, allowing a longer inscription.

Prices: One brick = $50; Two bricks = $80; Three bricks = $100
